PORTAL TO ANOTHER REALM: NEW MOON SOLAR ECLIPSE IN ARIES

Woohoo! It’s eclipse time again, and while the upcoming solar eclipse in Aries won’t be visible except in parts of Australia and Southeast Asia, this powerful planetary energy is a portal for manifestation as we move into the next six months and beyond. 

We’ve been doing fresh starts, creative energy, and new beginnings HARD CORE since the last eclipses in Scorpio in the fall. Since then, there has been a rare series of five new moons all at the one degree mark of their signs, signaling propulsion and birth of new reality(s). We’ve seen Pluto come into Aquarius for the first time since the planets’ discovery (symbolically ushering us into a new age); Jupiter is in Aries, beginning a new 12 year cycle; and we are in the last days of all planets moving direct, which began in January– WHOAH! 

What a wild blaze of start start start fire energy we’ve been through, and now this second new moon in Aries, a solar eclipse at that, looks like the grand finale crescendo at the end of six months in hyperdrive. We’re lighting fires, bursting into being, living expressions of pure inspiration.  

At the same time, this Sun/Moon conjunction comes at the final degree of this courageous sign just hours before the Sun moves into earthy Taurus. Mercury turns retrograde the next day (April 21st), weaving pause and reflection into our projects’ next phase. We’re on the brink of an energetic shift, and the full moon lunar eclipse on May 5th has potential to bring grounding, form, and reflection to the magic we summon into brew now.

Being at the last degree of a sign is like a door, a portal from one realm to another. We enter the space having worked and planted seeds for a project that will soon come to its natural 

completion, ushering us into a new phase. May we pass through this portal as masters of inception, yet childlike in wonder to embrace the potential of the next stage in realizing our destiny and dreams. 

This is karmic. It’s healing beyond the veils of what we see now. The eclipse conjuncts the North Node in Taurus across signs, pulling us toward the future, rooting into grounded integration of the earthly realities that form as a direct result of the passion, courage, and creativity we’ve been bringing forth the last six months. 

What begins now? What manifestations do you call in? And what projects are ready for their next phase of becoming, to ground in the Earth Mother and come alive with taste, smell, touch and music? May whatever it is be in alignment with your most genuine self and wishes, fueled by intuitive insight, and birthed in service to the destiny of all.

We have come far, and the wisdom and struggle of the underworld echoes from our past traumas and experiences (t-square between Sun/Moon/N.N, Pluto, and S.N. in Scorpio). Now our task is to pass through flame as courageous warriors who know what it means to be wounded, to enter the garden, sit and breathe, savor our accomplishments. Heart forward is the way through. May your creativity express and shine. May we lean in and trust our new realities with our full embodied selves in presence and wonder.
